The CULTURE FUND CREATOR’S Grant
NYC is experiencing a creative renaissance, and we’re here for it. Nightlife United is sharing twenty (20) $500 Culture Fund Grants to LGBTQ+ artists, creators, creatives, musicians, and performers within NYC Nightlife. To apply, fill out our brief questionnaire and send us a piece of art that best embodies you and celebrates NYC. It can be a poem, a picture, a song, a video, whatever.
Applications open on December 15th and close on December 20th.
Terms and Conditions
1. To qualify, you must self-identify as LBGTQ+, work in nightlife, and live permanently in NYC. No permanent address is required.
2. Please upload or share a link to an embeddable or dowloadable piece of art in any medium that best embodies you and celebrates NYC. It does not have to be created for this contest, but you do have to be the creator and owner of the art you are sharing.
3. Please do not send us links to Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok or any social media platform.
4. Your work may be shared on our website or on social media platforms. We will in no way, use this for profit or claim to have any commercial or publishing rights or copyright over this work. We will always credit you if and when we share the work. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are granting us permission to share your work for promotional purposes.
5. Please refrain from any art that promote prejudice, hate speech, hateful rhetoric, or displays graphic violence or sexually explicit imagery. We reserve the right to disqualify any applicants whose submission may not be suitable to public dissemination by our organizations.
6. You're all winners, but this is not an art contest. We're distributing grants to 20 qualifying applicants and choosing based on a combination of originality, creativity, representation of different aspects of the nightlife ecosystem, story, and need.
